An existing deployment of Traverse has 20 independent data gathering elements monitoring over 500,000 metrics every 5 minutes. Traverse Datacenter is based on a 'hot failover' architecture to ensure continuous availability of multiple NOC views and application functionality. Traverse has proven itself to be capable of monitoring a large amount of infrastructure across multiple physical locations compared to other data center management tools. Traverse is currently being used by a large multinational company with 12 datacenters in 5 countries, and in 3 different languages. The installation has over 200 active users of the product.
Advanced Technology
Zyrion's distributed Data Gathering Engine (DGE) architecture offers a scalable solution for large data center deployments that need to be managed from a single operations center. All the data collection is localized within the DGEs at the data center and even out-of-band alerts are triggered by these DGEs. This ensures that there is no possibility of any outage isolating a data center.
Zyrion Traverse's Multi-tenant Security Model allows creating multiple departments within Traverse, each with its own "virtual NMS" so that different data center managers can have their own alerts and notifications if desired.
