These reports give a quick snapshot for a given time-period. There are reports for a technical manager, and executive reports for a business manager showing the impact on business service containers.
These reports support operational and engineering analysis of your IT infrastructure and answer some commonly asked questions. You can select the report you want to generate and specify the Duration and Container or Device (using the Device and/or the Device Name/Regexp fields).
Traverse offers complete flexibility in creating ad-hoc reports over any time period. You can select the data over which to generate the report by specifying the device or test names, the time period and other such parameters. You can decide on the type of report to be generated such as a top-N table, or a trend report, a correlation graph, etc.
Upon login to the Traverse system you are able to see the real-time status of your monitored devices and containers. You are able to see any current failures and performance losses instantly. From the summary pages using a single click, Traverse provides you with details on the monitored devices, and you can create drill-down reports on performance, event history, and test results.
The Traverse Event Manager Console displays messages (traps, logs, windows events) forwarded from the Message Handler, as well as threshold violations. It provides features for acknowledging, suppressing and deleting events using a web interface. Events can be suppressed until a particular date and time, or until the state changes. Drill down on test results can be done from the Event Manager Console.
The Manage Devices page displays all the devices and links to perform various administrative functions on the devices, including managing tests. The Manage Service Containers page enables creating and managing service containers. The Configure SLA Manager page enables creating new SLA measurements.
