Senior Java Developers

Candidate will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of large-scale multi-tiered java applications in the application and network management space using technologies such as Java Server Pages (JSP), JMS, ActiveMQ, Struts, Spring Framework, JDBC and Flex. A minimum of 5 years of Java development experience is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of in depth software development experience with Java/J2EE application development using Object Oriented design and principles
  • Hands-on experience with server side technologies such as Tomcat, Struts, Spring, JMS, jChart, SOAP, and client side technologies such as Flex, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Strong familiarity with development tools such as Eclipse, Perforce/CVS, Ant
  • Keen understanding of structured development methods throughout the entire development lifecycle
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Prior experience in developing application & network performance monitoring solutions using SNMP, JMX is preferable

Linux Sys Admin with Perl

We are looking for young, dynamic Linux system administrators who have good Perl/Python knowledge, strong Linux system admin experience and eager to explore new technologies such as VMware, XEN, Amazon Cloud computing services, etc. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, a strong self learner and positive attitude. The candidate will need to take care of all our Linux (some Solaris & Windows) environment, in-house Perl tools, help in deploying our software product on new Linux & virtual environments, help customers as needed. Should have good communication skills, and active participation in user forums, mailing lists is a plus.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years Linux experience
  • Unix scripting skills (Perl, shell, Python)
  • TCP/IP networking and network technologies experience
  • Some experience in VMware, Xen, and/or Microsoft Virtual Server
  • Experience with Network and Application monitoring tools such as NetVigil, HPOV, BMC, etc.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Able to work closely with all levels of customers, internal engineers and management on complex issues
  • Able to work well in a startup environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Information Technology

Director of Marketing

We are seeking a Director of Marketing to support the following:

  • Design, implement, and facilitate annual marketing plan for the firm. Support and facilitate development and implementation of business/marketing plans
  • Plan and administer Marketing Operations budget; support development of regional marketing budgets
  • Organize and implement customer relations though customer development activities
  • Oversee business development activities
  • Offer coaching for prospective customer meetings, presentations, etc.
  • Oversee corporate communications activities through public relations & external vendors
  • Develop and administer marketing database which includes customer and prospect/lead information
  • Oversee company's electronic marketing efforts including supervision of Web site design and maintenance
  • Supervise Marketing Assistant. Make staffing and hiring decisions within marketing department

 

Requirements

  • College degree required. Concentration in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred
  • At least five years in marketing director role within professional services environment. Strong leadership and consensus building skills; marketing management and strategic planning experience; a proven track record in developing and administering a marketing program
  • Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well within a startup environment. Polished presentation and interpersonal skills. Must possess top level business management, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
  • Needs good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications

 

Senior Account Managers

We are looking for Senior Account managers with proven track records in selling enterprise software products over $100k. Past experience in a Network or Application monitoring company is strongly preferred. The positions are based in the Northern California region (Silicon Valley area) and metro New York area.

Requirements

  • Established sales record selling enterprise software with ASPs over $100k into medium enterprises
  • Achieve or exceed sales quotas of around $1M annually
  • Past experience selling Network, Systems or Application monitoring software is strongly preferred

 

Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Rep will be responsible for: responding to customers and provided solutions for their network management needs. Primary duties include outbound calling and e-mail creation and response. The goal is to maximize sales opportunities while effectively supporting the customer by providing accurate product information throughout the sales cycle. This position reports to the Sales Manager.

Job Description

  • Develop an active sales pipeline of qualified prospects
  • Responding to customer inquiries via phone and e-mail, assisting potential customer during their evaluation process to closing the sale
  • Proactively call into decision maker levels within prospective companies
  • Follow-up and qualify leads from marketing campaigns, and online inquiries
  • Conduct online product demonstrations over the web to potential customer's audiences. Technical or non tech
  • Develop and grow sales to the company's current needs
