Zyrion is a spin out of one of the largest publicly traded network management
companies, and started by the same founders as Fidelia
Technology, Inc. (acquired
by Network General). The founders and key executives have over 20 years of
experience in the IT infrastructure management space, including service providers
such as Verio (acquired by NTT). Zyrion's flagship Business Service Management
product - Traverse, is based on technology being used by hundreds of large
enterprises and datacenters across the world, within environments as large
as 20,000 routers and servers.
The founders of Zyrion have a strong heritage in the Infrastructure management
space, having created one of the first open source network management products for the
Internet, and the first integrated fault and performance management product
for mid-market enterprises. The management team has experience in packet data
technology as well as application layer management technologies.
